With the February 1 shutdown approaching, I want to share an update regarding migration assistance for MyVariety hosting customers who have not yet completed their migration.

Migration Assistance Overview

During this final week before shutdown, MyVariety is offering free, best-effort migration assistance for existing customers who need help moving their services to a new hosting provider.

This assistance is intended to help reduce last-minute issues and support customers in completing their migrations before services end.

What Migration Assistance Can Include

Depending on your setup and needs, migration assistance may include:

  • Helping identify a hosting provider that fits your budget and requirements
  • Assisting with website, application, or game server data transfers
  • Helping configure services on the new host
  • Verifying that services are functioning after the move

Scope & Availability

Migration assistance is limited and best-effort due to the short timeframe.

  • Assistance is intended for simple or straightforward migrations
  • Availability is limited, and not all requests may be accepted
  • More complex or business-critical setups may need to be referred to an external provider

How to Request Assistance

If you need migration assistance, please email cody@myvariety.net with a brief description of what you need help migrating.

Requests will be reviewed based on complexity and availability. Submitting a request does not guarantee acceptance, but I will do my best to assist where possible.

Timing Reminder

All MyVariety hosting services will remain active through January 31, 2026. Services will be shut down on February 1, 2026.

If you need help and have not yet migrated, please reach out as soon as possible so there is time to review your request.
